IKANO’s access offerings include broadband (DSL) and dialup (standard and accelerated). The Company is not facilities-based and its extensive North American network footprint is provided under contracts with underlying third party telco carriers. In addition, the Company offers email/webmail with spam filtering, portal solutions, web hosting and hosted Exchange service. IKANO’s unique capabilities and back office infrastructure enable turnkey bundling and a la carte services, along with customized billing and world-class customer care.
The Company’s executive management team, led by President and CEO George Naspo
, took the helm in August 2005 – following a 2-month consulting assignment to review and make recommendations regarding IKANO’s strategy, operations, financial performance and growth potential. Since June 30, 2005 fiscal year-end, IKANO’s revenue and EBITDA run rates have grown over 100% and 1000%, respectively.
The Company completed and integrated two successful acquisitions during this time – Dialup USA (July 1, 2005 effective date) and DSL Extreme (March 1, 2006). The Company has closed numerous small to mid-sized acquisitions since inception and understands how to assimilate cultures and operations to achieve projected synergies and increase shareholder value.
