NEW YORK, March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- RxCentric Inc., a leading provider of technology-enabled sales and marketing solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, today announced it will migrate about 30,000 physician subscribers of its Internet Service Provider Doctors Net Access (DNA) platform to IKANO Communications, Inc.

RxCentric President and CEO Richard Findlay said the move will provide current physician users of RxCentric's ISP service with the option to obtain more robust broadband online access through IKANO. IKANO's extensive ISP network in Europe and Asia will also enhance access by physicians to the DNA Portal throughout the world, said Findlay.

RxCentric will continue to operate and upgrade the DNA medical information portal which is located at www.doctorsnetaccess.com. The DNA portal will remain free to registered physicians. DNA provides physicians with quick access to comprehensive medical information, daily news, market reports, and a proprietary drug search and drug interaction engine, as well as online learning programs such as online details, market research and continuing medical education programs. Subscribers to the IKANO service will access the Internet through the DNA portal.

The agreement with IKANO will allow RxCentric to shift resources that currently support its ISP platform to focus on the burgeoning field of online detailing, both domestically and internationally. Physicians who now receive free Internet access through RxCentric's ISP service will be offered a preferred subscriber package by IKANO.
