NEW NATIONAL SALES DIRECTOR

SALT LAKE CITY - IKANO Communications, a market-leading Full Service Provider (FSP), announced today that Karen Banta joined the company as National Director of Sales, Western Region. Banta is a seasoned sales director with over 20 years experience in high technology sales.
In her new role, Banta will be responsible for all sales activity in the Western Region of the United States. Banta has an extensive value-based selling career and has consistently been a number one producer in sales delivered to her previous companies. She has sold services for many large organizations including Stream International, Microsoft, and Software Spectrum.
IKANO's IP network infrastructure and branded Internet services enable Fortune 1000 companies, affinity groups and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to leverage the Internet to better communicate with customers, employees or members. IKANO provides a turnkey solution for businesses and organizations to offer private-label Internet services to their customers, employees or members without investing in expensive infrastructure or staff.

Prior to joining IKANO, Banta served as Director of Sales for EchoPass and Business Development Manager for Stream International where she consistently exceeded revenue targets. She served as Business Development Manager for 800 Software.
Banta also served as National OEM sales manager for Software support, Inc., Sr. Account Manager for Corporate Software Incorporated and Account Manager at Microsoft.
