NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

SALT LAKE CITY - IKANO Communications, a market-leading Full Service Provider (FSP), announced today that Jim Knox joined the company as vice president of sales. Knox is a seasoned sales executive with 13 years of sales management experience.
In his new role, Knox will manage IKANO's national sales force with locations in Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Cincinnati, Atlanta and Toronto, ON.
IKANO's IP network infrastructure and branded Internet services enable Fortune 1000 companies, affinity groups and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to leverage the Internet to better communicate with customers, employees or members. IKANO provides a turnkey solution for businesses and organizations to offer private-label Internet services to their customers, employees or members without investing in expensive infrastructure or staff.

Prior to joining IKANO, Knox served as general manager, sales and marketing, contact services, at Software Spectrum, Inc. In just five years, Knox grew the contact services business from an annual rate of $2.6 million to over $75 million.
Knox also served as vice president of sales and marketing for FocIS Corporation, a leading provider of corporate help desk outsourcing services. Knox's career history also includes a variety of sales and sales management roles with ExecuTrain Corporation, Edutech Corporation and The SABRE Group.
