Wholesale PowerDSL FAQs

1. What is the minimum commitment?
There is a $100 monthly minimum beginning in the 3rd month after you "Go-Live".

2. Will there be a setup fee?
For a limited time IKANO will WAIVE the setup fee. We want to give you the opportunity to launch PowerDSL immediately at NO upfront cost.

3. What is the term of the contract?
The initial contract term is for three (3) years. After that the contract will automatically renew for successive one (1) year terms unless we receive proper notice.

4. What is the minimum Circuit-term?
Each circuit must be maintained for one (1) year from the date the circuit is built. After that the Subscriber can go month-to-month. Early Termination Fees may apply if the circuit is cancelled prior to the one (1) year mark depending on the provider area the circuit is in. This is subject to change at any time along with the published Pricing Schedule.

5. What does Wholesale PowerDSL cost?
The monthly cost varies by geographic region and by speed of service. Set-up and modem costs are also dependant on the geographic region in which the service is purchased.

6. Will we be able to purchase modems though IKANO?
Yes. We have secured preferential modem pricing from a national modem supplier in order to provide your subscribers with a high-quality, lower-cost product.

7. Can we provide our own modems?
Yes. You may use any modem that is compatible with the service. It is your responsibility to purchase the correct, DSL appropriate, modem. IKANO will not provide technical support for modems that are not purchased through IKANO.

8. Will Static IPs be available?
The availability of static IPs varies by ILEC.

9. If the End-User doesn't have phone service from the ILEC can they still get PowerDSL?
Stand-alone DSL varies by ILEC.

10. How long after I sign the contract before I can begin placing circuit orders?
IKANO's "Target Launch Date" is 45 days from when the contract is signed and delivered to IKANO.

11. How long does it take to get the circuit built after I place an order?
From the time you place the order it can take as few as five (5) days.

12. How will I track my users?
You will have access to Mission Control, a web interface where you can view customer account info, any pricing updates and other important information related to your services.

13. Does IKANO authenticate the end-user or can the partner handle the authentication?
IKANO will authenticate the subscriber via the Business Rules Platform (TRON). You will be able to view this from your Mission Control.

14. Who will provide the end-user technical support?
IKANO's award-winning PowerDSL customer support group can handle support. We have hired and trained a full DSL support staff to handle DSL set-up and tech support calls. The PowerDSL support team is centralized in IKANO's Salt Lake City office as opposed to out in the field. IKANO does not have any technicians that can be dispatched to the customer's site. You may also choose to provide your own direct end-user support and have IKANO provide Tier-2 support only to you, the Partner, much like we currently do for our Wholesale Dialup service.

15. If there is a line problem who will contact the ILEC?
IKANO will deal with the ILEC directly to resolve any issues relating to the ILEC.

16. Are there are any additional charges to fix line issues?
If the ILEC experiences a line issue and has to fix it, it is the responsibility of the ILEC. There are no additional charges to you.
